Chief Justice Rowe visits Canadian and Kingfisher County Courthouses

Canadian County Due to increased population growth, Canadian county was one of only two counties in the state that received legislative authorization to add an additional special judge this year.  Kingfisher County Chief Justice Rowe with law school classmate and Kingfisher County Associate District Judge Lance Schneiter, IV.

Logan County Courthouse is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.  Chief Justice Rowe visited with the judges and staff who work and serve in this courthouse, which was built in 1907.

Chief Justice Rowe visits Third Judicial District

Chief Justice Rowe met with judges of the third judicial district, which includes Jackson, Tillman, Kiowa, Greer and Harmon counties. The meeting was hosted on Altus AFB where the judges met with Air Force JAG attorneys and toured the AFB, including the newly-renovated base courtroom.

Chief Justice Rowe visited Okfuskee County District Court where he met with District Judge Lawrence Parish and Associate District Judge Maxey Reilly.  Judge Parish served as a JAG attorney in the US Marine Corps.

Justice Gurich hosted the group from Edmond Santa Fe High School on April 30, 2025.  The “job shadow” event was coordinated by K.C. Williams and other educators at Edmond SFHS.  She also had the opportunity to give them a tour of the Oklahoma Judicial Center as well as the Supreme Court Courtroom at the Capitol.
